PEA
My first jar and using for inflammation with nobeletin and really seems to be working
Palmitoylethanolamide, also known as PEA, is a endogenous fatty acid amide that has been demonstrated to exert a great variety of biological functions related to pain.* Additionally, it has been shown to have neuroprotective properties.* Pain management support dates as far back as before 1980. The birth of the molecule was in 1957 and it was in that year that 5 researchers believed that PEA was a natural pain management supplement.
As a dietary supplement, take 400mg of Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) Powder once daily.

I suffer from chronic migraines. I've tried a bunch of things and haven't had much relief. PEA has been the first thing to work consistently and continue to work. I have my life back thanks to this stuff. I'm taking 1200mg per day in 3 divided doses (the highest dose studied in clinical trials) so if you don't respond to it at first just be aware that 400mg/day may not be enough for some people.
Great product. It really helps with the relief of chronic pain.
As someone under 30 who suffers from sciatica I can say this stuff really improves my quality of life. Needs to be taken for a few days but it does work. I combine it with oral thc and baicalein for the entourage effect on some nights and with micromag in others. My only worry is that the pain may be worse than it was to begin with upon cessation, but that is just based on reading other people’s experiences. Hopefully not the case but as of now it works well.
This powder blends well in smoothies. My child takes it easily three times a day.
You really have do a little research on this one as it does a lot. A lot of people looking into it want help with improving their tolerance to pain medications, and alternative herbs. This is doing the trick for me, I hope it will work well for you as well! I submitted an earlier review, but I mistakenly wrote it with another product in mind.
5 Stars
Seems to work, but I don't know whether that is just a placebo effect because the effects are so subtle. I plan on buying some more.
This powder really helps me out. For me, it takes a couple of weeks to work at its maximum potential. It's subtle and natural: it feels like my elbow and knee have "gotten a bit better" on their own, but if I stop taking it the pain gets worse again and I realize how much it really was helping. It doesn't completely eliminate pain, but it helps reduce it and I really appreciate that. I can't take anything else for pain due to allergies and medication interactions. This has helped my pain issues quite a bit, thank you. For reference, I capsule this powder myself and take approximately 800mg 2x a day, am and pm.
Great product. Took this for a week or two and my shoulder blade pain went down 90 percent. I would take a dose sublingual with a little mct oil.
This is a really interesting substance with a lot of potential benefits. You should really read up on it elsewhere. To hear it described it sounds like some too good to be true miracle compound, but from my experience it lives up to the hype. For me, it just gives some sense of well being and relaxation.
The Micronized Palmitoylethanolamide works. I do recommend it. At the level I use it, it does not completely get rid of all pain; yet, it reduces it to the point that I can function and ignore it. I also think Nootropicsdepot has great Customer Service and caring for their customers.
This is my first time using "PEA" powder, so far it seems to be helping to decrease my low back pain (took some time to be effective). Even my doctor was impressed and had noticed the difference. Interested in seeing how it will work long term. Using a small inexpensive digital scale (Gemini ?) to weigh out dose. Easy and simple. Found the product does not dissolve well in water, so I simply take and chase and have started making capsules.
It's fine
Unfortunately, this site had PEA available only as a powder and I have not had the time to chase down capsules or an accurate enough scale. (I know, buy it online....) I really wish this site sold some of these other items to just make it all easier and more convenient. That said, I anticipate, and hope for, relief from pain when using this. My list of injuries is kind of extensive and this could be a good addition to my arsenal when trying to cope.
I take 2 capsules morning and evening. Sleep is a breeze. I'm a near-to 69 year old woman landscaper. My day today was moving boulders, arguing with CenturyLink, planting, and digging a trench for a 4" drainage pipe. Couldn't be happier.
Did nothing for reduction in my pain from a lower back injury causing Sciatica in my leg. I used it alone and in conjunction with prescribed, OTC, and other alternative forms of pain relief for over a week straight. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Agmatine is one example of something that has helped me. This Palmitoylethamide stuff was a total dud. Might as well have been a placebo. Money Wasted.
PEA is an outstanding product, I'm stacking it with flavonones and cytokine modulators. Prior to adding PEA, I lived in the 4/10 pain range all the time. Now I'm in the 0/10 pain range ~20 hours a day. Only product negative was poor absorption of the as supplied flakes, mixing with lecithin may help those who can't mill this into a sub-micron powder.
It enhances the effects of anandamide.
